On October 31, 2023, the 3rd Asian-African Women's Development and Cooperation Forum, sponsored by the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa, Beijing Yaoyang Foundation, and the Hong Kong Federation of Women, was held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Ms. Zhi Qun, Vice President of Tianjin FOHERB Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., was invited to attend the forum.

Over 150 individuals were invited to attend, including Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, former Chief Executive of the Hong Kong SAR Government; Pansy Ho Chiu-king, Chairman of Hong Kong Federation of Women; Zhao Meiling, President of Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa; Joyce Banda, former President of Malawi; Azeb Mesfin, spouse of Meles Zenawi, former Prime Minister of Ethiopia and Chairman of the Meles Foundation; Arriuzaya Ayush, Secretary of the Mongolian People's Party; Kanta Favie, Minister of Women's Affairs of Cambodia; Marcelina Mvela Chizhga, Dean of the Mwalimu Julius Nyerere Leadership School of Tanzania, as well as Asian and African envoys in China, representatives of international institutions in China, consular representatives in Hong Kong, leaders of the Hong Kong Women's Association and representatives of caring enterprises, were invited to attend the Forum.

During the theme forum, Zhi Qun, Vice President of Tianjin FOHERB Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and Vice President of the Women Empowerment & Development Society in Asia-Africa, participated in a detailed discussion with Her Excellency Aminata Koita, Ambassador of Guinea; and Dr. Maggie Kong May-kay, Honorary President of the Hong Kong Federation of Women, regarding the topic of "Women's Power Helping Hong Kong's Development."

During the exchange, Mr. Zhi Qun said that shaping the "Healthy Greater Bay Area" and accelerating the development of the massive health industry are key areas in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Hong Kong has great advantages in developing the life & health industry, and the massive health industry and TCM industry in Hong Kong have broad prospects for development. In addition, tourism is also one of the pillar engine industries of Hong Kong's economic development. With the vigorous development of innovative and integrated characteristic tourism such as "tourism & health care", "tourism & culture", "tourism & exhibition", "tourism & business" and "tourism & finance", it will contribute to the cross-border integration and coordinated development of  Hong Kong. FOHERB hopes to contribute to the development of the Hong Kong region through cooperation in the health industry and related tourism activities.
